What to Expect from Your Family Photography Session
1. Consultation
When and how you need it. I’m happy to connect by phone or email to answer questions and help you start planning. Simply fill out the contact form to get started.
2. Session Planning
You’ll receive a session guide, style guide, and session questionnaire to help customize your portrait session to your family and make planning easy.
3. Session Day Experience
My goal is to help everyone feel comfortable and relaxed so you can be your true selves in front of the camera. The result is not only beautiful images but also a fun memory of time spent together.
4. Proof Gallery
Your password protected proof gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session so you can select your favorite images.
5. Ordering Prints
If you’d like to order professional prints or products, I’m happy to help recommend the best sizes and options for displaying your portraits in your home.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don't know where to pick for the location of our session. Can you help?
Yes, on the top menu of my website you will see a tab, "Locations". Feel free to peruse these galleries to see photos I've taken at each of my suggested locations. I'm also happy to set up a phone call to help you find the perfect location for your family.
I need advice on outfits. Can you assist me?
Absolutely! Once you book your session, you will receive a session guide with lots of tips as well as an online style guide with links to clothing found online. I'm also happy to help with suggestions, should you want to email photos of pieces you may have.
Can we include our dog?
Yes, you can choose the add-on to bring your family dog. I love dogs, we just need to keep in mind some locations do not allow dogs. Don't mind me barking and making noises to make sure even your 4-legged buddy is looking for portraits. Make sure to bring treats with you and consider bringing a friend to be your "dog handler" when you want family photos without your pet.
I booked a family session but it is near my child's birthday. Can we focus a portion of the session for some birthday portraits and can you bring a wooden number for them?
Absolutely! I'm happy to customize your family session to place focus on where you'd like. If it's an outdoor session, let me know ahead of time so I can arrange to bring the wooden number.

Our experience with Becky was amazing!!
She learned everyone's names prior to our session which was very cool! She was very organized - had all of the different groupings for photos planned out in her head and moved swiftly through them all. She kept in mind the entire time getting the toddlers done early before they started losing it and she was very accommodating for our 94 year old grandfather too! Everything about the session went very smoothly and she was accommodating of all requests too! I also appreciated how quickly it went but that she never seemed to be running on any sort of time limit. The photos came out absolutely incredibly. We were all so, so happy - a few of us seemed to just keep scrolling through them the entire day we got them because we couldn't get enough!
