What to Expect from Your Seasonal / Mini Photography Session
1. Consultation
When and how you need it. I’m happy to connect by phone or email to answer questions and help you start planning. Simply fill out the contact form to get started.
2. Session Planning
You’ll receive a session guide, style guide, and session questionnaire to help customize your portrait session to your family and make planning easy.
3. Session Day Experience
My goal is to help everyone feel comfortable and relaxed so you can be your true selves in front of the camera. The result is not only beautiful images but also a fun memory of time spent together.
4. Proof Gallery
Your password protected proof gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session so you can select your favorite images.
5. Ordering Prints
If you’d like to order professional prints or products, I’m happy to help recommend the best sizes and options for displaying your portraits in your home.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose my own location for outdoor mini sessions?
No, locations are set for each offering so that I can shoot back-to-back sessions at one spot during the best lighting window of the day.
I need advice on outfits. Can you help me?
Absolutely! Once you book your session, you will receive a session guide with lots of tips as well as an online style guide with links to clothing found online. I'm also happy to help with suggestions, should you want to email photos of pieces you may have.
I see that most mini sessions are about 20 minutes. Is that enough time?
Yes, in most cases we can get so much variety in just 20 minutes. I suggest giving your kids some incentive before they come for their best cooperation. In the end, you know your child best and what they will be willing to do. I will certainly be ready with all the tricks.
I booked a mini session but it is near my child's birthday. Can they hold a number for a photo or two?
Absolutely! If it's an outdoor session, let me know ahead of time to bring the wooden number.
Do we need to know how to pose?
No, I will guide you every step of the way!
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Retainers are non-refundable. However session can be rescheduled due to weather and sickness. Retainers can be transferred within one calendar year.
Please note: I do NOT allow clients who are sick in my studio to keep it a safe place for all and especially for newborns.
How long is the turnaround time to see my images?
Your proof gallery will be delivered via email within 2 weeks after your session.
What if it rains?
I will keep a close on the forecast and will be in touch to give you a "heads up". Our session would be rescheduled to a different date.
